Our most recent project completion is iShowcase - An iPad app designed to deliver the company's inventory to the salesperson on the floor, at a convention or at the customer's premise.
Our client's huge inventory database of images, descriptions, model numbers and pricing made it difficult to engage their customers in sales negotiations - the necessary information just wasn't at the salespersons fingertips and caused unnecessary delays. In the end our client felt there had to be a better solution, the industry standard of "the salesperson and customer parting ways with promises to get back to one another" just wasn't working, the entire process was lackluster, cumbersome and didn't lend itself to metric anaylsis.
Our client wanted an iPad application that was engaging, that listed the latest inventory and most importantly wanted it to be mobile with the ability to enter and save customer data on the spot. The informaton to the potential customer had to be current and the customer database had to be reliable.
